Created in 1999, SEMIA is an incubator of excellence in the Grand Est Region, certified by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
SEMIA is open to all innovative project leaders whatever their field of activity.
Our method offers tailor-made support depending on the maturity of the projects.
This support is done in two phases:
- collective incubation through Starter Classes taught by experts
- individual incubation with a business manager dedicated to the project

Criteria
SEMIA application selection process
- Review cycle: Starts at the beginning of each week.
- Initial evaluation: The SEMIA team analyzes submitted applications and market dynamics.
- Selection: Based on the initial evaluation, an application may proceed to an interview or not.
- Response time: Applicants are notified within 3 weeks (excluding school holidays) after submitting their application.
SEMIA membership
- Type: Non-profit association
- Monthly fee: €120 including tax
- Fee: Covers less than 10% of the actual incubation cost (subsidy implied)
Funding
- This incubator does not directly provide funding to startups.
- They work closely with project leaders to identify suitable funding sources.
- They help assess financing options based on individual business needs.
