Fellowship program Key Points:
Annual Fellowship Program:
Pre-Amp conducts a nationwide search each year to select candidates for a 3-month Fellowship from June to August.
Fellowship Structure:
Fellows work in teams of two or three alongside leaders from Pre-Amp and Amplitude Ventures.
Exploration Phase:
Focuses on conducting in-depth, one-month explorations to identify hypotheses for novel healthcare ventures.
Company Creation Model:
Immerses Fellows in Pre-Amp's three-phase model: EXPLORE - REFINE - LAUNCH.
Academia Alternative:
Provides an opportunity for Fellows to explore entrepreneurship as an alternative to academia.
Balanced Environment:
Fosters a balance between imagination, translational science, and rigorous scientific thinking.
Entrepreneurial Training:
Aim to train brilliant scientists to become successful entrepreneurs, positioning the Pre-Amp Fellowship as a crucial training ground.
